Without a valid code, a domain name transfer procedure cannot be started and this is one of the protection measures against unsanctioned transfers used with all generic and with most country-specific extensions. For greater security, the code comprises of numbers and/or special symbols and is case-sensitive, so if you’d like to transfer one of your domains, you have to provide the new registrar company with the right code.
EPP Transfer Protection in Cloud Hosting
If you have a Linux cloud hosting, you’ve registered a domain name with our company and you’d like to transfer it away from us, you can get its EPP transfer code with no more than a few clicks of the mouse. When you log in to your Hepsia hosting Control Panel and go to the Registered Domains section, you will see all the domain names that you have registered with our company listed in alphabetical order. Next to each domain name, you will notice a tiny EPP icon for all generic and country-code domain name extensions that need a code in order to be transferred between domain name registrars. Clicking on the icon will send the code to the domain name owner’s email immediately. In the same section you can also find and ultimately modify the email address, if the one there is not valid anymore.
EPP Transfer Protection in Semi-dedicated Hosting
If you want to transfer any domain name that’s registered under a semi-dedicated server account to another domain name registrar, you can get its EPP transfer authorization code with a few mouse clicks from your Hepsia Control Panel. All registered domains are displayed in a different section. Quick-access buttons will enable you to use different functions. To get the transfer code, you just need to click on the EPP icon, which will be on the right-hand side of any domain name whose extension supports transfers with a transfer authorization code. Our system will send the code to the domain name registrant’s email, which is currently listed in the domain name’s WHOIS record. If needed, you can modify this email from the very same Control Panel section before requesting the transfer code. The change will take effect instantaneously, so you won’t need to wait for the new email address to be shown on WHOIS lookup websites.
